Obverse: Draped bust of Antonia to right wearing wreath of grain ears Reverse: Two vertical lit torches linked by ribbon, SACERDOS DIVI AVGVSTI, to sides and between

A VERY RARE collectible coin of an important personage in the Julio-Claudian line. Antonia was the daughter of Marc Antony and Octavia, the wife of Nero Claudius Drusus, the mother of Claudius during whose rule this coin was struck, and the grandmother of the infamous Caligula.

Surface porosity but still of very decent weight with a NICE portrait of Antonia!
