      Theodosius I was the last great inheritor of Roman Imperial & military tradition with Trajan, Aurelius, Diocletian, Constantine, Gratian, & Valens. His sons were Arcadius in Constantinopolis and Honorius in Ravenna. 
 
St. Patrick, 389-461 AD bishop, was born in Great Britain  and lived during the reign of Theodosius I. Pope Celestine I sent him to preach the faith in Ireland. In thirty years, he succeeded in converting the whole country after heart-breaking difficulties.
