GALLIENUS.   AD 253-268

Obverse: GALLIENVS AVG
Radiate head, right.

Reverse: SALVS AVG
Aesculapius standing left, holding serpent on staff.

Exergue: [MP]
Mint City: Mediolanum. Struck AD 260-268

Reference: Goebl 1286f. RIC 511.

Exergue marking below striking area. However, the serpent's number of coils appear to be consistent with those of the MP mint mark. "White metal," likely with a higher content of silver than most antoniniani of Gallienus' single reign.
