AUGUSTUS & AGRIPPA AE dupondius. Nemausus Mint, Gaul, struck after 10 AD. Heads of Agrippa, wearing rostral wreath, and Augustus, wearing laurel wreath, back to back, IMP DIVI F. Reverse - COL NEM, Crocodile chained to palm branch. 27mm, 13.4g. RCV 1730. Some adjustment scratches, from the flan preparation process, visible on both sides.

Interestingly, the captive crocodile is still used on the coat of arms of Nimes (formerly Nemausus).
