Comments

Not much is known about this governor of Tabaristan, except that there are coins minted in his name from PYE 136 to 138. Album claims that it is possible that coins with dates of 138 may be mules with earlier dates for his reign. Ibn Esfandiyar introduces him as the son of Musa. The position of BAKH  (بخ) on the face of the royal bust on obverse has been the point of discussion on a Zeno posting: http://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=120393
