This scarce anonymous Persian coin belongs to the reign of Nasir al-Din Shah Qajar, 1264-1313 AH (AD1848-1896). It is listed by Valentine as 156 or similar to KM #C249. It weighs 10.60 gr. (24 mm.) and it is minted in Iran in AH1271 (AD 1855).

The obverse has a lion facing seated to the left with the date.
On the reverse, the mint: falus Rayej Mamalek Mahruse Iran.
 
Note: Due to the softness of metal, the copper coins in this condition are rare.
