Marcius Censorinus AR Denarius Rome Mint 88 BC Obverse: Jugate heads of Numa Pompilius and Ancus Marcius right Reverse: C CENSO Desultor with two horses right, wearing cap and whip References: Crawford 346/1a, Sydenham 713 Size: 17mm, 3.89g Professional Numismatic Notes: Strong obverse detail and actually very lustrous and beautiful surfaces! What's interesting though, is the striking error of the reverse. It looks as though the die was shifted while striking, causing the appearance of ghostly streaks rather than an actual image to be imprinted
