Reverse: Zeus enthroned to left, holding eagle in right hand and scepter in left, BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANTIOXOΥ OEOΥ/ EΠIΦANOΥΣ on sides to right and left, NIKEΦOΡOΥ in exergue, monogram in far left field

 

A choice perfectly struck up and centered coin of the historic Antiochos IV Epiphanes, persecutor of the Judaeans. Struck during the Hasmonean revolt in Judaea against the Syrian Greek rule of Antiochos.
