Three standing imperial figures all wearing crown surmounted by a cross, the figure in centre bears a moustache and beard.
Reverse.Uncial letter M, to left downwards ANNO to right ' regnal year' X/Y ( year 15 ) , between limbs 'officina' letter Γ and above a cross, mint signature in exergue off flan but possibly CON as the final letter N is clear as in (CO)N
Better than very fine.
Prototype after follis of emperor Heraclius AD 610-641. Pseudo Byzantine follis mostly encountered copy issues of Cyprus bearing the immobolized officina letter gamma, however other mints were copied to a lesser degree amongst them that of Constantinople and even Theoupolis ( Antioch ) that ceased operation during the reign of Heraclius.
