coins from Magna Graecia and Sicily, featuring many
rarities and signed
dies. Large quarto, 575 coins illustrated and described in detail,
including 32 plates of color enlargements.
This collection was
previously published in German by Herbert A. Cahn in 1988,
and is often
cited in the trade as Basel or AMB. The auction catalogue retains the
original lot numbers, and is an even nicer presentation of the material
considering
all the color plates, plus the added bonus of being written in
English.
