Diadumenian was the son and co-ruler of Roman Emperor Macrinus. His mother was Nonia Celsa, whose name may be fictitious. Diadumenian became Caesar in May 217. Elagabalus revolted in May 218, and Diadumenian was elevated to co-emperor.
