Đurađ Branković was the Serbian Despot from 1427 to 1456. He was de facto the last Serbian medieval ruler. He was a participant in the battle of Ankara and Ottoman Interregnum. During his reign, the despotate was a vassal of both, Ottoman sultans as well as Hungarian kings.
