Comments A very unusual coin showing a battle scene on the reverse (see image below for line drawing of the three major figures in the scene). This coin shows the rider and the victim below, along with an unusal element: a sword lying on the ground.

Mitchiner assigns this coin type to the Silaharas of Konkan, but acknowledges other attributions are possible. Deyell lists it after the coinage of the Paramaras of Malwa. Maheshwari, whose analysis of this coinage is the most detailed, assigns it to the Paramaras and suggests it was issued in celebration of the recovery of Malwa by the Paramaras around 1190.
