The early milled coins of Sayaji Rao were heavier than the later ones; this coin is of the low weight type, just over 13 gm, on a large 30 mm flan, which is now only 2.5 mm thick. This type also adds a dot after the denomination on the reverse ... a CHOICE coin! |
