Comments The early milled coins of Sayaji Rao were heavier than the later ones; this coin is of the low weight type, just over 13 gm, on a large 30 mm flan, which is now only 2.5 mm thick. This type also adds a dot after the denomination on the reverse ... a CHOICE coin!

This coin has a very unusual 8 in the date ... the digit is inscribed very high, and has a small curve compared to the normal form for this number.
