Denomination : AE sestertius. Mint : Rome.
Date : AD 80
Size : 32.2 x 34.0 mm. Weight : 23.50 grams.
Reference : Sear-2526. RIC-94
Grade : VF with a Tiber patination which someone had attempted to re-tone, and the reverse is very rough.
Obverse : Head of Titus left, with IMP T CAES VESP AVG P M TR P COS VIII around (the last part of the inscription is weakly struck).
Reverse : Pax standing left holding an olive-branch and caduceus, with PAX AVGVSTI around, and S C in the fields.
This is a coin which I would describe as having a $2000 portrait with a $200.00 reverse.
