The obverse with the bust of Nerva, shown facing right and wearing laurel wreath. The full legend reading:

IMP[erator] NERVA CAES[ar] AVG[vstvs] P[ontifex] M[aximvs] TR[ibunicia] P[otestas] II  CO[n]S[vl] II P[ater] P[atriae]

"Emperor Nerva Caesar Augustus, Chief Priest, Twice Tribune of the People, Twice Consul, Father of the Country"
 
The reverse with clasped hands holding military standard set on ship's prow. The legend reading:

CONCORDIA EXERCITVM
 
"To the Harmony of the Military"
