837RLS) ISLAMIC, Mongols of Persia; This dynasty ruled in Persia, Iraq, and Eastern and central Anatolia. This coin is from the reign of Arghun 683-690 AH/1284-1291 AD. Arghun is the son of Abaqa, and grand son of Hulaqu, who sacked baghdad and executed the last Abbassid caliph Al-Musta�sim in 656 AH/1258AD. The coin AR DIRHAM was minted in TABRIZ. This is A-2148 SCARCE. The reverse has UIGHUR script, AND A BIRD BEHIND WHICH IS A SUN with the name of ARGHUN  written in Arabic in the right hand side portion  but with the same style of the Uighur to form one unit of calligraphy.
