Obv.: Crowned turkish female figue seated cross-legged and facing, right boot visible in front, holding in uplifted hands a large crescent which forms a complete circle tapering toward the top over figure�s head; mariginal legend with the mintname in an arc in the right field, continuing with sana vertically upward to the right of the figure�s head and the unit word of the date vertically downward to the left of the head, the decade and century in an arc in the left field; an eight-pointed star in the right and left fields between the figure�s elbows and knees; all within a solid circle.

Rev.: Five-line Naskhi legend containing the Kalima on the first two lines; the name and title of the Abbasid Caliph at the end of the second line, the third and beginning of fourth; the name of the Abbasid heir�Uddat al-Din Abu Nasr Muhammad at the end of the fourth line and the fifth; continuing in the left and bottom margins, in somewhat smaller letters, with the laqab, ism and nasab of the Ayyubid overlord Saladin; and in the right and top margins with laqab, ism and nasab of the Zengid atabeg; all within a solid outer circle.
