Comments:

Pahlavi Dynasty Presentation Mint Sets, starting around 1960AD, the Bank Markazi Iran began issuing mint sets of the current year's coinage. Although recently listed in the SCWC, these sets are rarely seen in the marketplace. It is cataloged as a set KM#MS1 dated SH 1342. (this is the very set sold by the central Bank of Iran in 1963).

The last Shah of Iran who left the country in late 1978, died and buried in Cairo, Egypt. The 4 coins here are mint examples of the 4 different denominations made during the reign of the last shah Pahlavi.

A nice gift idea for special occasions like birthdays, weddings and of course Nuruz.
