These coins were unobtainable until a small hoard emerged recently. They are still rare. The distinguishing features of the "Series 2" coins attributed to Narasimha III are that there are two dots above the circle in front of the bull, and the letter sa on the reverse is boxy and open on the bottom.
The Eastern Gangas were the dynasty who built the famous Sun Temple at Konarak. Their coins are the first non-Islamic coins in India to use the decimal, or place-number, system to write the dates.
