Early Islamic India, UMAYYAD CALIPHATE: AE fals (1.31 g), Mint in Sind regions Possibly al-Mansura, NM ND, obverse & Reverse legends, La ilaha ila / Allah wahdahu/ La sharika lah, with brahmi Words on top of both sides & tamgha on lower, probably a local copper struck by one of the provincial Umayyad governors of Sind. Both Sides bearing the kalima, Very interesting with Brahmi Legends on both sides & a tamgha. Copied from a very early Umayyad copper coins from al kufa style, Unpublished & Important, RRRR.
