Hendin 1377, 23.8mm, 9.74 grams.�Struck year one - 132/133 C.E.�

Obverse: "Simon Prince of Israel" surrounding palm branch within a wreath.� Reverse: "Year one of the redemption of Israel, wide lyre (Nevel) of six strings.

Very interesting SCARCE type. Holed in ancient times presumably to be worn as a charm. See " A Young Girl's Necklace" by Stephan Fregger puslished in the Shekel Sept./Oct. 2008 and in the Celator Vol. 23, March, 2009.

Nice hard ORIGINAL desert patina!
