Constantine I
A.D. 335- 337
15x16mm 1.7g
CONSTANTINVS MAX AVG; rosette- diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right.
REV: uniface
Cf. RIC VII Antioch 108
The bust on this coin looks like it is from Antioch and from the small flan size, it must be a later issue; which means it should have had a GLORIA EXERCITVS reverse with one standard, so RIC 108.
The reverse has a little of the original reverse still visible and what looks like some X’s and perhaps other numbers scratched into the reverse; so probably used as a token or game piece.
