Phrygia, Apamea. Hadrian. 98-117 AD. AE 20mm (5.76 gm). Obv.: Laureate bust right, aegis tied at shoulder. Rev.: The river god Marsyas reclining left, holding aloft rhyton and double flute, resting on rocky outcrop with amphora from which water flows; five chests placed on the height above. Cf. BMC Phrygia pg. 96, 155; cf. SNG Copenhagen 211; SNG von Aulock 8343 (same obverse die). Good very fine.
