Nero, 54-68 AD. AE Sestertius (24.54 gm, 35mm). Lugdunum (Lyon) mint. Struck circa 65 AD. Obv.: NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP PP, laureate head left, globe at point of bust. Rev.: S-C, Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory and parazonium, resting foot on helmet; shields behind. Giard, Lyon 114/5 (for same obverse die but with Ceres reverse). Rough, test on edge, about very fine for detail.

Only one die known with opposite text published in Giard (Lyon); here combined with different reverse type. Faint circles (in field beside images) show an interesting glimpse into coin flan manufacturing.
