zoom view
Maximinus II Daia AE Follis. Heraclea Mint 310-311 AD. Obverse: IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMINVS PF INV AVG Laureate head right. Reverse: GENIO IMPERATORIS Genius standing left, holding patera and cornucopiae; crescent right; HTE in exergue. References: RIC 55 Rare. Size: 26mm, 6.30g. Numismatic Notes: Not the greatest quality, but certainly a rare one! Unlike most of the examples of RIC 55 that I've seen, this one is actually attributed properly with the crescent in the field (most of the other examples I've seen are mis-attributed because they do not have the crescent). This is rated rare by RIC!
