Good very fine, glossy dark green patina, stuck on a short flan, obverse most of letters off flan but clearly identifiable.
Brittannicus was originally named Germanicus, but was later changed to Britannicus in honour of Claudius' conquest of Britain AD 43.He survived a few months after the death of his father, in AD 55 was poisoned under the orders of Nero.
