Con/ Good Very Fine, sharply struck to either side, crisp legends and reverse details. Typical puffy cheeks and sharp-nosed portrait for the mint, glossy black patina with orange sand fill.

Obv/ DN VAL LICIN LICINIVS IVN NOB C; helmeted and cuir. bust l., holding shield and spear.

Rev/ IOVI CONSERVATORI; Jupiter stg. l., holding globe and scepter; eagle presenting wreath before, bound captive behind. XIIr in right field

Seller's Note/ Look closely at the portrait and you'll see that poor Licinus Jr. is presented with his most likely true portrait, puffy checks and a sharp nose as he was just as only about ten years old. Such portraits are only from the eastern mints of Cyzicus and Antioch.
