zoom view
Showing a seated God; bearded and wearing a horned tiara and long flounced robe; and is seated on an angular stool as he raises one hand to greet another approaching God.  He too wears a horned tiara; but a short kilt and is climbing up from the netherworld to the gate of the east: he is the Sun-God; identified by rays from his shoulders and by the saw weapon with curving short blade.  Behind him stands a female human worshipper in a long fringed robe; but with bare head; holding a child as an offering in her arms.
The design rests on a baseline.
It is fine work and in a very good state of preservation save for one small chip off the lower edge.

Accompanied by a text from Professor W. G. Lambert (Birmingham University)
