Bearded King wearing tiara facing left with a Parthian-style overlap covering the ear. King�s tiara adorned with rows of pellets and a pellet inside a crescent. A monogram (tricycle) behind bust.

Reverse

King�s father facing left with an edged crown. Aramaic legends on both sides of the bust.

Comments

This is a very rare example of late Persis drachm. It is well struck and well-preserved. Since there is no marking on reverse, the marking on obverse behind the bust it seems an attempt to add more metal to the coin at the time of mintage to bring the weight to standard.
