Comments

*According to Album type "E" for Karim Khan was minted in the city of Qazvin only from 1972 to 1176, however KM catalog claims that coins dated 1170 were minted in error and the actual date for 1170 coin struck in 1174-75 (thus has valued higher). In absence of any concrete evidence, the date should be treated as 1170.

Karim Khan never took the title of "King", he was one of Nadir's general who tried to unite Iran after Nadir's sudden death. He rebuilt Iran. For more information on him and Zand Family please go to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zand_dynasty
