Obverse:
The usual Islamic legend in the center with the date and mint around it
Reverse: lillah/ Muhammad Rasul-allah on the top center, with additional: "From what was ordered by the Prince al-Ma'mun/ The Prince of The Muslims/ Abd Allah ibn Amir al-Mu'minin. The governor's name, perhaps al-fadl (ibn Sahl), just below it. The text: "Muhammad is the messenger of God. He sent him with guidance and the true religion to reveal it to all religions even if the polytheists abhor it" around it.

Notes:
The sixth Abbasid Caliph, Harun al-Rashid's son, al-Amin was at odds with his half brother al-Ma'mun. Amin was eventually defeated and killed in the hands of his brother. Ma'mun's problems, however, will start a year later in 195AH.
