1944 D Curacao 2-1/2 Gulden (KM-46) BU; Silver. Struck at the U.S. Denver Mint; mintage of only 200,000 pieces of which 60,000 were melted after the minting was completed so only a total of 140,000 were ever issued for circulation. Now they are getting much harder to find in higher grades.
