Sher Shah was a brilliant general and also a brilliant administrator. He drove the Mughal emperor Humayun from India and re-established the Delhi Sultanate. Among his many civil reforms was the introduction of the rupee, which continues as the Indian monetary unit to this day. This is a CHOICE coin on a beautiful 28 mm flan! |
