Denomination : Silver Hemidrachm.

: These are only attributed to the Chersonesos region of Thrace, and the exact city in that region that issued them is not currently known.

Date : ca. 350 to 300 BC (although depending on the book you reference, these are sometimes listed at dates as early as 450 BC).

Size : 12.3 x 13.4 mm.   Weight : 2.39 grams.   This is a fairly small coin.

Reference : Sear Greek - 1602 to 1606.

Grade : VF, with what appears to be a very tiny test cut on the edge, only visible when the coin viewed edge on.

Obverse : Forepart of a lion right, looking back to the left.

Reverse : Quadripart square with two depressed quadrants, with a pellet and pentragram in one, and what appears to be a pellet and torch in the other.
