: These are only attributed to the Chersonesos region of Thrace, and the exact city in that region that issued them is not currently known.

Date : ca. 350 to 300 BC (although depending on the book you reference, these are sometimes listed at dates as early as 450 BC).

Size : 11.5 x 12.5 mm   Weight : 2.20 grams.   This is a fairly small coin.

Reference : Sear Greek - 1602 to 1606.  BMC THRACE PAGE 183 #4.

Grade : VF, without any test cuts as seen on many examples of these on the market recently.

Obverse : Forepart of a lion right, looking back to the left.

Reverse : Quadripart square with two depressed quadrants, with a pellet in one and a wreath in the other.
