Denomination : Silver stater.

Reference : SNG Cop 33 variety.  Sear 2763 variety.

Size : 23.3 x 25.0 mm.  Weight : 12.15 grams.

Grade : good XF, with exceptional style, centering and strike.  The image would give you the impression this is on a very large flan, but it is a normal sized flan with the Chimera engraved into the obverse die smaller than usual, allowing for the Chimara to be well framed on the flan, creating excellent eye-appeal. On the reverse one leaf touches the edge, but there is nothing off the edge on either side of this coin.  The only flaw is a minor planchet defect just below and slightly to the left on the obverse.  But if you look closely there are a few very light scratches right beside ome devices that appear to be marks left by who every cleaned this coin. They are virtually invisible to the un-aided eye, but I mention them for completeness.

Obverse : Chimera walking left, with SE below.

Reverse : Dove flying left, in a wreath, with I T S O in various positions around the dove.
