Denomination : Silver denarius.  Mint : Rome.

Date : issue of AD 205

Reference : Sear-6273.

Size : 16.8 x 19.4 mm.  Weight : 3.41 grams.

Grade : gVF/XF with considerable original lustre remaining.

Obverse : Head of Severus right, with SEVERVS PIVS AVG around.

Reverse : Felicitas standing left, holding a caduceus and cornucopiae, with FELICITAS AVGG around.

There is a small spur of extra metal along the reverse at 4 o'clock, which appears to be a relic of the flan production technique, most likely the sprew removal process from when the flan was first cast.
