Grade : VF, dark toning.

Obverse : Crowned head of David II right, with a sceptre in front, all within a scalloped circle, with DAVID DEI GRATIA REX SCOTORVM (parts of the inscription are poorly struck, which is normal on these).

Reverse : Long cross with mullets in the corners, and two lines of inscription around.  The inner line reads VILLA EDINBVRGH, the outer line reads DNS PTECTOR MS ET LIBATOR ME (Latin for GOD IS MY DEFENDER AND MY REDEEMER).
