Denomination : Silver tetradrachm. Reference : Sear-7214 variety.

Date : Issue of 42 to 41 BC.

Size : 23.3 x 24.3 mm. Weight : 14.29 grams.

Obverse : Head of Philip Philadelphos right.

Reverse : Zeus seated left on a throne, with Greek inscriptions to the sides naming Philip as King.  The date mark GI can been seen in the exergue, indicating year-23 which works out to 42 to 41 BC.

The examples of this type struck under Philip Philadelphos were struck to a standard of about 15.3 grams, while the later strikings under the Romans were struck to a standard below 15 grams.
