Obverse : Helmeted head of Roma right, with the denomination mark XVI in monogram form behind the neck.

Reverse : Column surmounted by a small statue, and flanked by two larger figures (possibly also statues),  with ROMA flanking the small upper statue, with TI MINVCI and AVGVRINI to the left and right of two lower figures.

This type shows the bronze Columna Minucia, which once stood outside of the Porta Trigemina in the severan wall, and which commemorated L. Minucius Augurinus, praefectus annonae in 439 BC.
