Obverse : Helmeted head of Roma right, with an uncertain symbol behind.

Reverse : Victory driving a triga (three horse chariot) right, with AP CL T MAL Q VR below (several of the letters are ligate).

The triga is rarely represented on Republican coins, with this being one of only two known types (the other was issued by C. Naevius Balbus in 79 BC), however both of the types are relatively common coins.
