Denomination : Bronze Antoninianus.   Mint : Tripolis.

Date : issued ca. AD 276 to 282.

Reference : RIC V pt. II, page 121, #927.

Size : 21.9 x 22.9 mm.  Weight : 4.45 grams.

Grade : XF with a subdued silvering.  Perfect centering with a strong strike. FULL RINGS OF DOTS ON BOTH SIDES.   Under magification there is a trace of porosity, but over all this is an exceptional example of this type.

Obverse : Radiate bust of Probus right, with IMP C M AVR PROBVS P F AVG around.

Reverse : Probus standing left, receiving a globe from Jupiter.  Both are holding sceptres, and there is a wreath above Probus' sceptre, with CLEMENTIA TEMP around, and XXI below.
