Grade :  VF with a weak area in the centre of the reverse.

Obverse : Radiate bust of Philip I right, with IMP C M IVL PHILIPPVS  P F AVG P M around.

Reverse : Pax standing left holding a branch and sceptre, with PAX FVNDATA CVM PERSIS around.

This coin commemorates the peace Philip negotiated with the Persian in AD 244, the terms of which were very un-favorable to the Romans as were very un-popular.  Until recently this was a fairly scarce types, but many more of them have appeared on the market in the past 10 years.
