I have used the most traditionally accepted attribution for this type, but I would not be at all surprised if one day it gets re-attributed to a different city in that region, and up to 100 years later in date.

Denomination : Silver 1/12 stater.

Reference : Sear Greek - 3532 variety.

Size : 8.9 x 10.0 mm.  Weight : 1.06 grams.  This is a fairly small coin.

Grade : VF

Obverse : Lion's head.  There is normally one of the Lion's legs below the head, which on this coin may be off the flan but I see nothing to suggest it was actually part of the design of this particular specimen.

Reverse : Ornamental star pattern in an incuse square.
