Date : Issued to commemorate his first abdication in the late summer or fall of AD 305.

Size : 25.1 x 27.0 mm.  Weight : 8.28 grams.

Reference : Sear-3641 variety, RIC 66b (S).

Grade : XF with lots of subdued silvering. A few letters in the inscriptions are slightly weak, but over all this is a very nice coin.

Obverse : Laureate bust of Maximianus right, wearing imperial robes and holding olive branch and mappa, with D N MAXIMIANO FELICISSIMO SEN AVG around.

Reverse : Providentia and Quies standing facing each other, with PROVIDENTIA DEORVM QVIES AVGG around, with the mint mark S T below, and an A in the upper left field.
