Denomination : Silver tetradrachm.  Mint : Berytus.

Date : Price dates this issue from 323 to 320 BC, and while Alexander died in 323 this should be consider a posthumous issue.

Reference : Price-3415.

Size : 25.3 x 26.6 mm.  Weight : 16.84 grams.

Grade : XF with an exceptionally well-centred obverse with nothing but part of the ring of beads off the flan.   There is a very minor natural flan defect  by Zeus' knee.

Obverse : Head of Herakles right, wearing the lion's skin.

Reverse : Zeus seated left, holding a sceptre and eagle with an O above a B below his arm, with AI below the throne and ALEXANDROU to the right.
