Coins of this type were first struck under Alexander Jannaeus between 103 to 76 BC, but were struck by most Hasmonaean Kings down to about 40 BC.  It can be very difficult to determine which of the king struck which coins, and we have made no attempt to do so.

Reference : Sear Greek-6089 + variety.

Size : 13.7 x 14.7 mm.  Weight : 2.05 grams.

Grade : gVF and very well struck with exceptional inscriptions (easily read if you know how to read these).

Obverse : Hebrew inscription in a wreath.

Reverse : Crossed double cornucopiae with a pomegranate between them.
