Denomination : Silver Quarteruolo (also called a denaro scodellato).

Date : AD 1192 to 1202

Size : 12.5 x 14.0 mm.  Weight : 0.36 grams.  This is a fairly small coin

Reference : Thompson-1844

Grade : VF.  Note that these coins are struck concave (scyphate) intentionally.  Minor discoloration on the reverse.

Obverse : Short cross in a circle with ENRIC DVX around.  The obverse is on the convex side of the coin.

Reverse : Short cross on a circle, with S MARCV S around. The S's are turned on their sides and some letters are difficult to read because they are crudely engraved as is normal for this type. The reverse is on the concave side of the coin.
